The Senate passed this bill that would raise the minimum wage to $7.25 over the next two years.

Further Continuing Appropriations, FY2007 - Vote Passed (286-140, 9 Not Voting)

The House passed this $463.5 billion measure funding government operations through the end of the 2007 fiscal year.

Comments:
Sununu and Gregg both voted for an amendment that would eliminate the federal minimum wage altogether, before they added the $80 billion in business tax cuts to the min. wage package in the Senate.

Kansas has a state min. wage of $2.62. That sure would be great for business - who cares about the workers.
 
When I got the vote notifiation, I thought it was an error when it said these 2 guys voted yes. I should have known there was a bride to their corperate masters in there somewhere.
