Real ID
Last week the NH House voted NOT to participate in the REAL ID Act - a measure that would give us a National ID card - a measure that our entire Congressional delegation supported. There's a group working to prevent REAL ID - and other egregious forms of tracking citizens. Proponents of RFID chips want them imbedded in our national ID cards, so that Big Bro won't have a hard time finding us. Check out

On Saturday, April 22 they're having a rally at 1 pm at the state house. The NH senate hears the bill on April 26.
Some of our elected officials are nervous - saying that NH residents will be forced to have passports to get into federal buildings if we don't have the national ID. I don't fuggin think so. We should push the envelope - right up their noses.
