Lewis "Scooter" Libby, has been indicted on obstruction of justice, false statement, and perjury charges by a grand jury investigating the leak of a covert CIA operative's identity. The rightards are cackling with glee that only Scooter has been indicted - failing to grasp that there was sufficient evidence to empanel another grand jury and continue the investigation.
After the travesty of Kenneth Starr's investigation and all those "leaks" - I appreciate how quietly and solidly Fitzgerald is building his case.

Maybe the right wing media is trying to pretend to be thrilled... but what I am hearing from the main stream media is that the bush administration is not happy, and they know that this is the tip of the iceberg...
The SLAPPED libby with 5 felonies...one of them being conspiracy... [you can't conspire with yourself!!] and people are saying that he didn't do rove yet because he wants to get libby to talk...
SO... a new grand jury is forming and I read on the blogosphere that the next indictments will be out in weeks NOT months....
