We are STILL paying "Brownie's" salary.
“Andrews confirmed that Brown is still on FEMA’s payroll as a consultant. She said he works from home, where he is ‘pulling all the documentation together’ to aid in the investigations into the government’s response to Katrina. I have heard also that the reason that Mike Brown was put back on the pay roll is that he was leaking information about the Bush administration once he was forced to resigned. We all saw how his resignation story did not match with the Administrations. It is rumored that he was the source for the "Bush is drinking again" story in The Enquirer.
