Dems could face trouble over Iraq vote... unless they grow a pair.
The Associated Press states the obvious today in reporting that "potential Democratic presidential candidates who voted to give President Bush the authority to use force in Iraq could face a political problem — they supported a war that their party's rank-and-file now strongly view as a mistake." I would agree with this, except with one caveat. These Democrats would avoid a problem if they simply did what former presidential candidate Dick Gephardt did yesterday: admit his vote for the war was a mistake. Let's see if any of the 2008 candidates who voted for the war have the guts to take that simple straightforward step, or whether they will instead try to out neoconservative each other in yet another misguided attempt to seem "strong."

Dems are just now beginning to wake up to the reality that the vast majority of Americans are against the war. Slowly they are realizing that a Democratic version of "Stay The Coarse" is not the answer. If only they would wake up to the fact that when they don't accept the blame for their Iraq vote and admit they were wrong, they sound alot like Bush.
yo, Cowie, what do you mean what species... ALL MAN! ya punk bitch!
