Eaton "exit bonuses" to political staff must be repaid to taxpayers
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - CONTACT: NH Dem Party, (603) 225-6899
CONCORD, NH -- Ex-Senate President Tom Eaton's decision to use taxpayer dollars to give exit bonuses to his political staff is highly irregular, and the money must be repaid from his personal campaign committee said Democratic Party Chair Kathy Sullivan today.
"Tom Eaton used taxpayer funds to pay off two political allies, it's that simple,"said Sullivan. "This is exactly what got ex-Governor Craig Benson in trouble. Mr. Eaton should immediately reimburse the state from his campaign committee, unless he wants to follow Craig Benson's path right out of office."

NH Democratic Party files civil suit against RNC
RNC, Others Added to Existing Lawsuit Against State GOP
MANCHESTER, NH - The New Hampshire Democratic Party today added the Republican National Committee and several other Republican officials and groups to its pending civil lawsuit against the New Hampshire Republican Party, over the 2002 phone-jamming case in which two GOP officials are currently serving jail time.
"It's taken years to fight through their legal stonewalling, but it is crystal clear now that the phone-jamming was planned by the Republican Party in order to help win John Sununu's Senate seat and win back the United States Senate. And it worked," said Kathy Sullivan, Chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. "Now it's time for some accountability."
